Its hard to believe that Merrifield MOMs will be open tomorrow (grand opening this weekend), after so many months of dreaming, planning, and preparing.

As always, our employee crew is churning away, stocking products, beautifying displays and practicing systems to make sure everything will go smoothly. The Merrifield location really proves that MOMs is growing up! Thanks to decades of support from our near-fanatic customers we’re able to open a gorgeous store with all the bells and whistles (well, we’re still minimalists at heart, mind you).
Everyone is invited to scamper over to Merrifield this weekend (starting tomorrow) to see for yourselves! A word about directions (there’s some construction around the center) since it may not come up on your GPS:
The store is in the Mosaic District on the corner of Lee Highway and Eskridge, not far from the Gallows Rd & Lee Hwy intersection. If you’re using google maps or a GPS, try searching for 2900 Eskridge Rd zip 22031 and it should lead you right there. We’re directly across from Home Depot on Eskridge Rd. If you take the little alley out front (Glass Alley), you’ll find tons of easy free (!) parking on your right side.
From Annandale: Take Gallows Rd (Rt 650 North) towards Merrifield, cross Rt 50, and take a left on Lee Highway (Rt 29/237 West), and take a left on Eskridge Rd. Take a left after the median and the free parking garage is immediately on your left. Or try this.
From Arlington: Take Arlington Blvd (Rt 50 West) towards Merrifield, make a right on Gallows Rd (Rt 650 North), and take a left on Lee Highway (Rt 29/237 W), and take a left on Eskridge Rd. Take a left after the median and the free parking garage is immediately on your left. Or try this.
From Fairfax: Take Rt 29 East/North (which is also Rt 50 there) towards Merrifield, stay on Rt 29/237 (East/North) when Rt 50 splits off. Pass Prosperity Ave (699) and make a right on Eskridge Rd and a right into Glass Alley and proceed into the free parking garage on your right. Or try this.
From Vienna: Take Nutley St (Rt 243 South) towards Rt 66. Pass Rt 66. Make a left on Lee Hwy (Rt 29/237 East/North). Pass Prosperity Ave (699) and make a right on Eskridge Rd and a right into Glass Alley and proceed into the free parking garage on your right. Or try this.
From Tyson’s Corner: Take Chain Bridge Rd (Rt 123 South) towards Vienna. Make a left onto Old Courthouse Rd (Rt 677). Turn right on Gallows Rd (Rt 650 South). Turn right onto Lee Hwy (Rt 29 S/237 W). Take a left onto Eskridge, and a left after the median, free parking garage immediately on your left. Or try this.
Come check out the festivities this weekend: recycle your old shoes and electronics, get free samples & goody bags, enter raffles, and get your kids involved in some fun activities. Don’t forget to save room for lunch at our Naked Lunch counter where everything is organic: kombucha on tap, raw juices, steam bowls, black bean burgers, hummus & cilantro sandwiches, and even veggie-loaded salads.
